Selangor FA
The Football Association of Selangor (Malay: Persatuan Bolasepak Selangor), commonly referred to as FAS or simply Selangor, competes in Malaysian football competitions representing the state of Selangor Darul Ehsan. The team is based in Shah Alam city. They are currently playing in Malaysian Super League, the top-flight of Malaysian football. Their home games are played at Stadium Shah Alam.
History
For most of the 20th century, Singapore was Selangor's fierce rival since 1921 before they withdrew from Malaysian competitions after 1994 campaign. As part of reviving their traditional rivalry, both teams square off in Sultan of Selangor Cup tournament which is held annually since its introduction in 2002.
With a record of 32 Malaysia Cups, 5 Division 1/Premier 1/Super League titles, 2 Division 2/Premier 2/Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups and 8 Charity Cups, Selangor is the most successful team in Malaysian football. The team has won the treble twice in 2005 and 2009. The first treble consists of Premier League, Malaysia Cup and FA Cup, while the second consists of Super League, FA Cup and Charity Cup. In 2010, they retained the Super League title and Charity Cup.

Fans
- ultraSel - The premier supporters of Selangor is the ultraSel who makes gate15 their home every home game at the Shah Alam Stadium. Inspired by the Ultras Malaya movement, seven Selangor supporters who were also involved in the inception of Ultras Malaya decided to band together using the ultras modus operandi in 2010 to support Selangor FA and gave birth to ultraSel. They are unarguably the most organised and well funded ultra group in Malaysia and they count their success in ousting the ineffective K Devan, the Selangor coach for the 2011 season in October 2011 as their first success as an ultra group.
